There are many easy ways to support Longacre throughout the school year!

Spot's Annual Fun Run

The Fun Run is an all-school event where students Sharpen their Saws as they run or walk laps during a 15-minute time frame during school hours. The Fun Run takes place in the fall and is the PTA’s major FUNdraiser for the year. All money raised from the Fun Run benefits Longacre students by providing a variety of in-school and after-school events & activities. Many volunteers are needed to cheer on our runners.

Kroger Community Rewards

Register your Kroger plus card online at www.krogercommunityrewards.com and designate Longacre as the donation recipient, Longacre’s NPO number is 84565. Once you do this, use your Kroger plus card at checkout as you would normally do and based on school participation a percent is donated back to the school. Please note that the designation needs to be renewed each spring.

Scholastic Book Fair

We run a Scholastic Book Fairs in both the Fall and the Spring. The book fair is held in the media center and is a great opportunity for families to come in and shop for books while supporting our school. There are hundreds of books available in different literacy levels from pre-reading to chapter books. Scholastic donates a percentage of the proceeds back to the PTA. Payment can be made by cash or credit card.

Fun-raisers

Throughout the school year we organize nights out with local businesses donating back a percentage of the total purchases to our school. Watch for flyers to come home and support local businesses and our Longacre PTA.

Box Tops for Education

We all shop for groceries, so why not turn those shopping trips into cash for our school. All you need to do is download the Box Tops App. Look for the logo. You can find it on hundreds of products you know and love. Tap the scan button and snap a photo of your receipt within 14 days of purchase. It’s that easy!
